Aline Schnepp
Aline Schnepp is a Swiss cellist based in Basel. She performs regularly with orchestras such as the Berner Symphonieorchester, the Swiss Orchestra, and the 21st Century Orchestra. Playing with other musicians—especially in chamber music—is essential to her. In addition to the Aventurin Quartett, she is a member of the Zuger Kammersolisten and enjoys performing in various chamber music ensembles as well as in duo recitals with piano.
She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with distinction at the Hochschule für Musik Basel, studying with Thomas Demenga, and at the Hochschule der Künste Bern with Conradin Brotbek.
She has also gained additional musical inspiration through numerous masterclasses and lessons with renowned musicians, including Nicolas Altstaedt, Miklós Perényi, Troels Svane, Wen-Sinn Yang, Corina Belcea, Ferenc Rados, and Günther Pichler.
