Aline Schnepp
Aline Schnepp was born in 1995 in Liestal, Switzerland. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Thomas Demenga where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in 2017, and in 2019, her Master of Music Pedagogy degree. Under the tutelage of Conradin Brotbek she completed her studies at Hochschule der Künste Bern and received 2022 her Master of Music Performance degree with distinction. Aline Schnepp received further musical inputs in several masterclasses and lessons with Nicolas Altstaedt, Miklós Perényi, Wolfgang Boettcher, Thomas Grossenbacher, Troels Svane, Wen- Sinn Yang, Sebastian Klinger, Corina Belcea, Ferenc Rados and Michael Sanderling. She is currently studying CAS with Patrick Jüdt at Bern University of the Arts together with the Aventurin Quartet.
Aline Schnepp performs regularly with the 21st Century Orchestra, the Swiss Orchestra and the Bern Symphony Orchestra, where she completed an internship.
Performing with other musicians, especially in a chamber music context, is essential for her. In addition to the Aventurin Quartet, she is also a permanent member of the Kammersolisten Zug, who are constantly exploring historical instruments and performance practices. She also performs as a duo with pianist Aniele Steininger.
