Marta Lucjan is a Polish violinist who is currently studying Masters Specialized Contemporary Music at the Hochschule der Künste Bern in the class of Corina Belcea. One of her main interests is chamber music. As the first violinist of the Al Pari Quartet, she recorded an Album ‘World Dialogue’ with the music of Stephan Thelen, along with the Kronos Quartet. With her quartet, she studied with the Quartetto di Cremona at the Accademia Stauffer in Cremona and participated in Le Dimore del Quartetto projects. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Jakub Jakowicz. In 2019, she was accepted as a Si-yo young artist. From 2017 to 2019, she was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist with Camerata Sariensis and Orchestra da Camera di Lugano. As of September 2022, she plays a Nicolo Amati violin from 1660 on loan from the Lotti Kahl Stiftung.
